Kainzenbad
The natural pool in the southeastern outskirts of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a multi-faceted excursion destination. The picturesque bathing lake with 12,500 square metres is great fun for water fans of all ages, water sports enthusiasts as well as relaxation-seekers. The view of the world-famous ski jump and of the Wank are the icing on the cake.
The Lake is continuously fed by the fresh mountain water of the Kanker, that’s why the water temperature is usually at a cool 18 to 22 degrees – just amazing!

Pflegersee bathing beach
A true inside tip: Lake Pflegersee is located directly underneath the Königstand at the Kramer mountain range. The natural sunbathing meadows and the old trees will remind you of a quaint historic bathing beach. Colourful rowing boats and a small wooden dock make for its unique charm.
“Beautiful” to know: The little moor lake is said to have an especially positive effect on hair and skin. Just try it!

Riessersee bathing beach
Lake Riessersee is a historic gem with exceptional mountain views. As the namesake of the local ice hockey team and competition site of the Olympic Winter Games in 1936, the charming lake is well-known and popular among winter sports enthusiasts!
It’s the perfect location to let your mind wander, kick back and relax – or to get some exercise and invigorate your mind. When skies are clear, the Zugspitze is even mirrored in the water.
