    News from GaPa
    24.06.2022

    Dear GaPa friends,

from June 26 to 28, 2022, the G7 summit will take place in the immediate vicinity of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This results in severe restrictions for locals and guests, as large parts of the everyday infrastructure remain closed throughout the district. We recommend that you avoid the entire area for excursions, hikes and day visits during this period. You can find more information on our website (in german language only).

The Tourist Info-Point on Richard-Strauss Platz has open Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday from 9 am to 12 am. It will be closed on Monday. If you have any question related to the restrictions belonging G7, please call the Bürgertelefon (free with German mobile nummer).

We look forward to welcoming you back after the G7 summit.
