Through the Hasental to Pfeiffer-Alm and to the Gschwandtnerbauern
This interesting tour leads you over snow-covered meadows at the foot of Mount Wank and Mount Rosswank. The path is lined with numerous viewpoints that offer you a great view over Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Wetterstein Mountain Range.
The Pfeiffer-Alm is worth taking a break here to let your eyes wander across the mountain ranges of the Wetterstein and Zugspitze. In the east, you will see the majestic Sojern Mountains. Perhaps you will even discover Wamberg, the highest-altitude village with its own church in Germany.
The Gschwandtnerbauer seems to be far away from the rest of the world: surrounded by a white winter wonderland with a fantastic view of the Wetterstein Mountains, it is far away from modern life and streets.
