Hike through the Partnachklamm Gorge and back via Mount Graseck
This easy circular tour leads you through the impressing nature of the Partnachklamm gorge - a unique adventure for the whole family.
This truly is a very special tour, as the wild and romantic Partnachklamm gorge is unique. This hike is perfect for everyone, even with children. In 1912, the gorge was declared a natural monument, fascinating everyone with its wild roaring waterfalls, white water rapids and pools. The Partnach Mountain torrent has dug its bed up to 80 m deep into the rocks over a distance of ca. 800 m, creating one of the most beautiful gorges in the Alps. The track leads through the gorge right next to the water. In times past, only sure-footed lumberjacks, hunters and rangers used the path, but when increasingly more tourists came to the region at the beginning of the 20th century, the passage was expanded and made safer for everyone.
