In 2006, an important museum in the Zugspitz region opened its doors: At the Aschenbrenner Museum, fine porcelain meets the delicate world of dolls and has nativity scene fans excited.
The people of Werdenfels have filled the legacy of Marianne Aschenbrenner, the museum’s founder, with life. Alongside a fascinating nativity landscape at the modern newly-built part of the museum, it houses an extensive collection of porcelain and puppets, on a 300-square-metre area.
