Stunning views all the way to the horizon. Around you the impressive summits of the Zugspitz region. That’s what awaits you on the AlpspiX scenic-view platform on the Osterfelderkopf. A few steps away from the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn cable car, the X-shaped steel construction juts out over a vertical drop of a thousand metres.
You’ll feel the adrenaline rush as you’re standing at the end of the 25-metre-long walkways. A glass wall is all that’s between you and the incredible panoramic views. Are you ready for your mind to be blown between heaven and the Höllental (hell valley)?
Good to know: The cable car takes you all the way to the scenic view platform, so it’s accessible for everyone year-round.
Hiking tips: A visit to the AlpspiX can be perfectly combined with a leisurely hike. Be it the family-friendly summit adventure trail on the Osterfelderkopf or the enjoyment adventure trail from the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn to the Kreuzeckbahn – spectacular views are guaranteed!
