Wonderfully walkable - in summer as well as in winter! The Eckbauer is highly regarded as a versatile hiking area. It is considered one of the most beautiful lookout point above the "Werdenfelser Land".

The Eckbauer gondola valley station is located at the south-eastern end of the Olympia ski stadium. From there, the 1,237-metre-high Mt. Eckbauer can be easily reached by cable car. Once at the top, hiking routes of all levels of difficulty await you. How about a trip to the nearby Partnach gorge, for example?

The cozy "Berggasthof Eckbauer" is a popular excursion destination. Between May and October, hard-working mountaineers are treated to delicious delicacies and can enjoy the unique mountain panorama on the sun terrace.
